This juvenile eagle hung around the beach all during the time we were at the Kalaloch Beach campground in Olympic National Park. At one point we got fairly close to him (probably 100 yards or so) while he sat on the beach.

We got this image of this eagle sitting in this tree in a February trip to Kalaloch Beach in the Olympic National Park. We saw at least two mature and two juvenile bald eagles around the beach. This tree is within feet of highway U.S. 101.
